Re: Red's Fans Check in
Its a good thing that this division has been absolutely terrible. At this point in the season there is no way that the second place team in this division will make the Wild Card. So the Reds better hope that the Cardinals continue to suck, because thats the only thing keeping us alive.

Re: Red's Fans Check in
I like tonight's lineup. BP in the leadoff spot, Janish getting a starting spot, and Heisey as well.

Re: Red's Fans Check in
Its too bad the Reds haven't used all these games against crappy interleague games to climb back to the top of the division.

Re: Red's Fans Check in
Nothing like a few warmup games against a bad team to go into this long road stretch before the All-Star break.

Re: Red's Fans Check in
Halladay is a G, but it looks like Manuel hates his bullpen more than we should hate ours. Most pitchers get a W for a complete game, but today the Reds did a good job from the 6th on.

Re: Red's Fans Check in
Tough road stretch before the break, but its nice to start with some really, really, crappy teams.

Re: Red's Fans Check in
This super weak schedule is certainly looking like it can put some distance between us and the Cardinals.
Anyone find the stats on opponents win percentage? I have to think that the Reds have one of the worst opponents winning percentage of any team. Even their interleague games were against bad teams.

Nope, and I don't care. It doesn't matter how you get to the playoffs, as long as you get there.

Re: Red's Fans Check in
And when they make a first round exit against the Wild Card team it will be the old mantra "We'll get 'em next year".
