Had a can of Maui brewery Coconut Porter tonight. Lovely.
Damn shame it will probably be the last one as I know no one in Maui. Other than that, the Greenwich Meantime brewery makes a mean IPA.

Re: What beers are you enjoying?
Last weekend I tried the New Belgium seasonal offering "Hoptober Golden Ale". True to it's name, it was hoppy to the extreme. But it wasn't slap-you-down bitter, very balanced. I would highly recommend it.

Re: What beers are you enjoying?
I had a 10 hour session on Sunday with Warsteiner Gold , whoo ah . Friday I had an Iron Hill Belgium Pale Ale , a Anvil English Ale and a Belgium Wit . All good stuff but the mussels cooked in Belgium Wit , Blue Cheese , Leeks and Bacon were incredible . Oh and I almost forgot the Sam Adams Octoberfest on Saturday at a BBQ . I definitely took advantage of the Labor Day weekend !

Re: What beers are you enjoying?
Tried some Lion Stout over the weekend and liked it.
Also had a Rochefort 10, on the recommendation of one of the Tulip Twins, and it was excellent. |

Re: What beers are you enjoying?
Enjoyed the other day three beers by Furthermore.
From left to right. Knot Stock: which is really different beer with a black pepper taste. Really good with jalapeno popper, also great with Mexican food. Fatty Boombalatty: Great creamy, hoppy, and down right flavorful. So far my fav from the line. Oscura: The smell of this beer is strong coffee. When you take a drink the coffee is still there but not in your face. Another fav! I picked up a six pack of the fatty and tried another one called Proper. The Proper is the first out of the four that didn't have a strong hop flavor. It's a great creamy ale. Overall I love Furthermore!
