Re: The Bourbon Thread!!
We only got a dusting of snow but it is sittin on top of about a 1/2 inch of ice from the freezing rain. Roads are little slushy but for the most part drivable

Re: The Bourbon Thread!!
On my way home to eat wings pick out a bourbon and Watch the SEC Roll on!!! Hard to choose but I have narrowed it to Baker's, Woodfords Maple Finish, or buying something new.

Re: The Bourbon Thread!!
We were sipping on some wonderful Woodford Reserve last night for the game. And of course a few smokes as well.

I like those glasses that came in the Woodford giftset. I picked up a couple different sets myself just because I wanted the glasses; didn't get the Woodford though.

Re: The Bourbon Thread!!
Been wondering about the Willett. Nice bottle. My sister's store in Tennessee has it in, and I have been thinking about getting her to hold me a bottle. Think I'll tell her to go ahead.

Re: The Bourbon Thread!!
I attended Whiskey Fest in San Francisco last October...great event (even though it was taken over by Shanken). Had the chance to sample lots of Scotch, Bourbon, Whiskey and Whisky.
Highlights were the Glen Rothes line and the opportunity to sample some of the best of the Pappy line. However, the biggest highlight was meeting Master Distiller Lincoln Henderson of Woodford fame. He is the genius behind the new Angel's Envy...truly some tasty stuff! Here's a quick write-up http://www.bourbonblog.com/blog/2010...-envy-bourbon/ Can't wait to get my hands on some |

Re: The Bourbon Thread!!
Has anyone tasted the Angel's Envy Bourbon yet?
If so, what are your thoughts? Is it pricey?

Re: The Bourbon Thread!!
Find a new shop and wow they had a great selection.
I was curious and ask if they had any Pappy van winkle 15 or 20. Guy went into the back and got me the 20....
