Finally finished Anathem at the end of February and I blazed through The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo on my trip to Moscow last week.
Currently I am about about 2/3 into the first Wheel of Time book.

John Adams by David McCullough. It's an excellent biography of a vastly undervalued man in the founding of our country.

That one is on my short list. The wife liked it, and it's good to hear that you liked it too.

Just finished Star Wars Fate of the Jedi: Abyss. What can I say. Just an old kid.
Now working on The New Penguin History of the World. The abridged version. I guess there won't be a final version in my lifetime.

I started reading 'December' by Phil Rickman. Made it through 78 pages and had to stop. Just could not get into the flow of the writer.

After putting 'December' down I read 'Mad As Hell' by Mike Lupica. Book was published in early 1996 but is still revolent with the complaining of how sports are screwing the average fan over.

Started reading 'The Passenger' by Patrick A. Davis the other day. After the first page I was into the book. Will probbaly finish it by this time next week.

South of Broad by Pat Conroy.
Good book. Takes place here in Charleston, it's a novel but there are real places/events/and some people!
