Icehog... you love Willie Plett & Basil McRae giving the Blackhawks the beat down. Canada is the favorite to win in 2010.

I dunno, Manson gave ole Basil a beatdown on more than one occassion.

I had season tickets for years during that era.....worst I ever saw in person was the pre-game brawl, where Shane Churla almost killed Wayne VanDorp.

Nice 6-3 win for the Hawks. Two goals for Patrick Sharp, and three Hawks fights, including one for Captain Toews.

The Blues third goal, a meaningless goal with 2 minutes left, went in on a slapshot that bounced off Keith Tkachuk's teeth. He had to be rushed off the ice, bleeding badly. I am sure he would have rather lost 6-2.

Did I mention how much I hate Barret Jackman?

5-2 win for the Hawks tonight, two for Hossa, Toews, Versteeg and Brouwer each with one. Hawks tied with San Jose Sharts for the most points in the NHL.

Got Hossa?

The Sharks got destroyed by the Kings tonight. As a Sharks fan this is not good the Kings have gained 7 out of a possible 8 points from the Sharks and Nabokov looked bad tonight. This is a potential first round matchup also. OOOO no could the kings be the new sharks killer?

It's going to be a competitive Olympics for sure! All the teams are looking very good. It always depends on who can gel the fastest.

What's with the Dino talk? He works out at my gym, he may be old but dude looks like he stays in good shape. Just in case anyone was wondering his daughter is hot

I would have loved Dino if he had been on the Hawks...500 career goals, and his famous comment after shaking Claude Lemeiux's hand.

It's about time. The Sharks have owned the Kings for years. Doughty was THE MAN last night. This kid continues to amaze.

What a lame schedule - three games in 15 days versus the Sharks and then the season series is DONE by mid-January. I love all the divisional games at the end of the season. It puts your fate in your own hands.

He should be in the Hall of Fame. He really only had one good season for the Wings if I can remember. I was so young at the time, I just remember all the fights with the Avs

This is an AHL video from last week. Adirondack Phantoms & Albany River Rats. Watch the Albany player Blanchard come into the scrum and what happens to the Adirondack player. Blanchards defense is that he did not hit him, he just tried to pull him off the scrum and he must have been unconscious before he even got to him. I would love to see someone unconscious and still standing vertical on skates. The player was unconscious for 10 mins on the ice and will be out for 2-3 weeks. Blanchard got 3 games for the hit. I understand this is part of the game, but his excuse is so stupid.

Woooooooooooooooooooooooooo.
Just watched the IIHF World Jrs. Usa won gold in the OT vs Canada. What an amazing game. Sorry to anyone who missed it. Dramatic last minute comback by canada to send it to OT. They played a speed game with the US who was faster in OT and the whole tourney and got burned in the end.
