Hey Guys.

What is a good price for a Romanian AK47 these days?

I have the opportunity to get one for $550. Thoughts?

I wonder if he suffers from a lot of low/left accuracy issues.

Nice catch. First forefinger joint on the trigger instead of the pad?

That and the hollywood support hand grip w/ modified weaver stance.

But hey.... Who am I to judge? If he's comfortable and accurate, I say, "Rock On!"

Strong shoulder locked and weak elbow out. Sort of a hybrid stance. Maybe it's just the camera angle.
Like Catfish said, if he's comfortable and accurate.....
To each his own.

I cringe when I see somebody w/ their hand under the bottom of the gun like that

I was at the range one time when a dude had some kind of misfire or malfunction (never found out what it was) and it blew the mag out the bottom of the gun busting his hand up all kinds of nasty ways... ugh.

Then again, if you typically shoot a Beretta 92FS, you're used to carrying a tea cup and saucer.

I keed, I keed.

Well..........not really.

Several years ago, I bought an SAR 3 for $300.

This rifle today would go for $800 or more since it's a 5.56mm and there aren't a lot of 'em out there.

An SAR 1 I'm guessing would go for about $600ish.

I hate to triple post, but I got do the coolest thing at lunch today. I got to shoot a CAR with this.

The Barrett rep was there setting up the range, and a Fish and Wildlife officer called me to come out and meet him. When I got there I watched them shoot at something. It wasn’t until I had a pair of binoculars that I saw it was a car. You couldn’t see it with the naked eye. I can tell you this I have shot shotguns that had more recoil than the Barrett did. It was a rush, and an adrenalin rush to say the least.

The 556 is a compliant rifle. Meets the terms of CA

There is a prince50 mag release installed which makes it a fix'd mag.
There is alittle screw in there that you can lossen up that lets the button work normaly again which would make it illeage in CA so we would not do that right.. Even though we shoot at a private range.

As for the Pmag. I put a rivet half way down the spine so it only can hold 10rnds. I like the feel of a 30rnd clip only reason for this.

The things we have to do in California ....

Did 30 round magazines that were previously legal in CA become illegal somehow? I remembered new ones were. I have had my guns since the early 80s.
