Re: Photography Thread
This is one of my favorites of one of my kids that was a premie. If you've never seen a small baby this will give you a different perspective. She was 2 lbs 11 ounces at birth and this was about a month later.
She'll be 9 in May and is perfectly fine besides being a PIA! She was big compared to some of the others in NICU. |

Re: Photography Thread
Looking to pull the trigger on a Camera this week.
I like the Canon T1i. As a newbie to photography, is there anything about the T1i I should consider before purchasing? What additions should I buy? Lenses, flashes and etc? Thanks for the help!

Re: Photography Thread
That's what I have and took the above pic with it. I am quite frankly not in love with the kit glass and want to upgrade. So maybe look into better glass. JMHO.

Re: Photography Thread
To start I would get the "Nifty Fifty" It's cheap and the results are quite good considering the cost. It's not a USM lens but....

Re: Photography Thread
I would consider the 50mm 1.8
OR Canon EF 35mm f/2 The way I look at it if youll be taking pictures in cigar bars you need the faster lenses. The 50 is good bu sometimes you don have enough room in a crowd. Thats why I say the 35mm. All depends on what you will be using it for mostly. A vacation option would be the 18-200. We've been through this before its not a PRO tack sharp uber lens, HOWEVER, for vacations and taking pictures in the moment it gives you great range. The T1i is a great choice. With 15MP and a 22.3 x 14.9 mm sensor you are pretty golden. If I do switch from my Nikons with will be to the T1i , 50D, or borrow indefinitely a 5D mark II

Re: Photography Thread
Can some of you experts give me your opinion on this photo tent kit I was looking at?
http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-PREMIUM-PHOT...item35a6c0b34f Looking to take pics for the bakery website, and also double duty for my wifes website too (dog clothing). What is something like this "worth", and is it any good? What is the most I should offer on something like this, or can these be had relatively inexpensively? Thanks in advance for your replies.

Re: Photography Thread
its not a bad price i wouldnt pay more than $75
You can make your own light tent HERE And put 2 shop lights on either side for quite a bit cheaper.

I plan on taking the time to learn the "ins and outs" of this camera to take all kinds of pics. Would this package I found be a good starter kit?... http://cgi.ebay.com/CANON-T1i-500D-D...item25589f03c6
