Mets lose to the Blue Jays this evening, 5-4. Germen blew it in the 7th and Parnell gave it up in the bottom on the 9th. Thanks bullpen!!

Mejia in rotation as 5th starter; Dice-K 'shocked' by decision. Mejia just had an MRI on his forearm...and Dice-K actually had a decent spring training. Must say I am shocked as well.

How the hell does Gonzalez Germen make the bullpen? He had an AWFUL spring. Come on Sandy!!

Mets currently in a weather delay. Down 9-5 heading to the bottom of the tenth. Looks like game one will end up as a loss. So much for the 90 game win predicted by the Mets GM.

Parnell to DL with partial MCL tear in elbow. So is this why he blew the lead on opening day?? And so it begins already. A depleted/weak bullpen just got a lot worse. WAKE UP ALDERSON!!! You did absolutely nothing in the off season to improve this "suspect" 'pen. Time to spend some money and improve this HUGE weakness.
