Don Lucas Robusto's at the factory in the Dominican Republic. Nothing special, but sent me down the slope.

First box of "good" sticks was Rocky Patel Sun Grown Petit Corona's... which I love!!!

CC: Cohiba Siglo something, I was 17 roaming the duty free shop in Taipei on Spring Break and though it would be "cool" to get a box for college. My dad found them when I got back to the states, put them in his humi and told me he would "maintain" them for me till I turned 18 2 months later...he forgot to tell me about the maintenance fee...I had 4 from the whole box. He said the maintenance fee was for 18 years of food, clothing and shelter, I can't wait to use that on my own kid.

NC: Romeo Julietta Bully- first time smoking in a lounge tried em, liked it and bought a box

Ahh the memories...

First NC was a box of Cohiba Red Dot Petite Corona

First CC was 98 Partagas Charolettes

First Split was Cohiba EL 2003 Double Corona

I paid dearly for them but it was worth it.

Bought a box of AF Curly Heads back in 1989. Still have one somewhere in the humidor. Found the AOL Pipes & Cigars message boards in the early 90's and became a full-fledged cigar maniac.

1st NC: Cain Habano 550's it was the first time I had the money to buy more than 4-6 at a time (was makin payments on a rifle) and I had just finished buying a couple when the clerk at my usual B&M store told me about the Cain event the next day and gave me a flier. Well, since I had been following Drew Estate on Facebook, since it was the only company I had heard on the internet and was fairly new to cigars, I always heard about how awesome cigar events were. I wound up going without the intention to buy anything, I just wanted to see Sam Leccia roll cigars and maybe buy a few, but then I saw my kryptonite, free merchandise (with purchase)! I instantly bought the cheapest box of cain cigars in Habano (admittedly, the sole reason being it had habano in the name) and the rest it history. I still have the cigar Sam rolled (or put the wrapper on, rather, but who knows if he did the rest earlier, so whatever) and I think it may be a cain F in the 660 size (aka a long Nub cigar) but I won't know until I see a few more years go by

As for CC, I don't even know how, and its a little like fight club trying to get those things!
my uncle smokes them often and he said he'll be sending a box of Iraqi cigars or something like that, I was informed of this through the family grapevine, but he did say if you like ISOMs, you'll like em.

My first box was also my first humidor

30 Hupmann Vintage Cameroon Belicosos in 3 removable cedar trays. It was my only humidor for about 3 years. I still store it in my cabinet and use it for singles

My first CC box was a 50cab of RASS
