Still Watching My Back

Re: My RNY and my New Life
Inspiring to say the least! You look great man, keep up the good work.
Just curious; but did/do you have sleep apnea as a result of your weight? I ask, because I have it and it is believed to be a direct result of my weight gain. I'm also fearful of diabetes as it runs in my family. So... I need to start thinking about losing weight myself. What really sucks is nearly all of my weight goes straight to my gut. Makes a great beer shelf, but also feels like I've got the incredible shrinking winky! |

Re: My RNY and my New Life
i apologize for not responding, as i must have missed these somehow!.
i did not have any problems with sleep apnea, but extreme weight is the leading factor in that.. If you are starting to think u need WLS, time to tal to a surgeon and discuss some options, dont have any shame! |

Re: My RNY and my New Life
Way to go Ron. Can hardly see you in that last picture! I just got back from the gym and saw your latest post and now I wanna go back. I gained a few pounds over Thanksgiving and you just inspired me again to keep working at it. Right now I'm too up and down and need to consider this surgery as an option. Take care and congratulations. Steve

100lbs gone forever!
Well today i weighed myself after a slow 12 day mini stall, and alas, i finally hit my century milestone! 12 weeks and 2 days from my surgery, lots of hitting the gym, research, advice and hard work, and i can finally breathe a sigh of relief! next stop; my personal goal of 240... Now im starting to think i can get to 220. lol |
