Re: How about them Bruins.
Crazy night with the Panthers beating the President's Trophy winners (and all time wins/points leader), and an expansion team taking out the defending Stanley Cup Champs. Two new teams in the Final this year with the Avs and Tampa out.

Re: How about them Bruins.
Avs, Ning, and Bruins all out. Very surprising to say the least. As a Panthers fan, I’m absolutely stunned that we pulled off beating the Bruins. Besides going through multiple panic attacks through this series, I’m still alive. Onto Toronto we go. Who do you all have in the Stanley Cup finals? I’d love to see the Panthers of course. If not this year after beating the best team in the NHL, when? I’m trying to put my biased hat aside but I can’t. Toronto is very good and this series will push at least 6, if not 7. I’ll never sleep on the hurricanes. Winner of rangers/devils will be dangerous. But I got The cats representing the East and the Oilers representing the west.
Florida is battle tested and Edmonton on paper and probably also in actuality is the best team left in the tourney. This is where I take my biased hat off. Edmonton would beat up the Panthers in 5, we are that outmatched. If somehow the Knights, or the Kraken or Stars could take them out, anything is possible in playoff hockey, I’d like our chances against any of the 3 other western conference teams. |

Re: How about them Bruins.
Right now I'm pulling for Edmonton in the West and Florida in the East. But wouldn't be shocked if they both get knocked out this round too.

Re: How about them Bruins.
I’m feeling and wanting the same thing. When the Panthers aren’t in the mix, I do pull for the Canadian teams, whomever is left. I’d like to see the 30 year drought of a Canadian team winning the cup come to an end. Playoff hockey is so unpredictable so I could definitely see Edmonton and Florida bounced out this round but I could equally see both making the cup. Unfortunately if that does happen, I gotta put my fandom aside. Anything is possible in playoff hockey. We just saw it in the Boston/Florida series but I think Edmonton would beat Florida pretty handedly. I could definitely see a Canadian team breaking the 30 year curse at Florida’s expense. Lots of hockey left to be played. Nothing comes close to playoff hockey. Best 2 months of sports.

Re: How about them Bruins.
What an OT goal by Pasta!!! I don't think they have much of a chance in Round 2, but what a way to win a game 7 in OT!

Re: How about them Bruins.
Florida will be a tough opponent, but should be a great series.
