Re: What was your last Scotch purchase?
I bought a couple bottles, Glenfiddich 12 and Macallan 12. I liked the Macallan much better.

Re: What was your last Scotch purchase?
I've had it and liked it, but I bought it hoping it would taste like the old port wood finish that they stopped making and it didn't. Although I bought it at a time when I was just learning how to drink single malt scotch neat as opposed to on the rocks, so that may have affected my opinion/taste.

Re: What was your last Scotch purchase?
Picked up some Old Pultney on a recommendation from SmokeyNL. Good stuff. Only my second bottle of Scotch. Better than the Glen Moray I had before.

Does the 18 have the 'sting' that the 12 does?

Re: What was your last Scotch purchase?
haven't had a good scotch in the house for a while, the last was Dalmore 12, which I liked a lot. It may be a good time to shop for a few new ones I haven't tried, which are many, so it shouldn't be hard.
