I was about to ask if I could join in on some arse kinkin' with you but then came to my senses and realized I'll be 50 in April.

Re: What is the last concert you've seen?
Saw Sugarland at a small club (apprx. 1100 max capacity) in Binghamton, NY right after they hit it big with "Baby Girl"and before they started a tour. Not a huge country fan, but it was awsome. It was at the same place that I met Blues Traveler.

I'll go anywhere that Jimmy Buffet plays so I can wear my big fishhead hat.

Re: What is the last concert you've seen?
Saw ZZ Top on Halloween night. Great show, Blackberry Smoke was the opener - good whiskey fueled driving souther fried rock band.
Other than that this summer I caught Jack Johnson and Willie/Jerry Jeff Walker at their Red Rocks shows. |

Re: What is the last concert you've seen?
last night it was the Toadies @ Webster Hall!! Best thing to come out of Texas since Kenny!
I'm actually happy these guys aren't as popular as they should be, so I get to see them in small venues and can get as close as I want....even on stage! You all know their "Big" hit here, but you should really check out their other songs too!!

Re: What is the last concert you've seen?
Last year I saw OK Go and Cheap Trick at the TLA in Philly... a friggin' awesome show. CT sounds better now than they did back the previous time I saw them (back in the early 80s). I was surprised with how good a show OK Go put on.
Before that, it was Satriani at the Tower theater a couple of years ago. Best $25 I've spent in a long time. |

Re: What is the last concert you've seen?
The last concet I attended was quite a concert. I made it down to Austin for the "Austin City Limits Music Festival" for the 4th year in row. So, three days of music, cigars, libations and scantily clad beautiful babies.
Some high lights: 1. Robert Plant and Alison Krauss 2. Beck 3. Robert Earl Keen 4. Iron & Wine 5. Band of Horses 6. Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings 7. Okkervil River 8. Foo Fighters 9. Drive-By Truckers 10. M. Ward 11. John Fogerty I could go on and on, the line up never disappoints. The only problem was a few schedule conflicts, but over all a great, great time as usual. If you've never made it to this festival I suggest you try to next year. God, I love MUSIC!! |
