I am amazed by how many people here drink the plain old lipton stuff, if you are interested in branching out, shoot me a PM and ill give you some info... Seriously, we are brothers of the LEAF around here, cant that apply to Tea Leaves as well?

I just picked up some White Monkey Green Tea.

Very nice. Not overpowering.
No distraction from a good cigar.

At the moment a generic China Lapsang Souchong brought from a small whole seller. A bit blunt and I can't help the feeling it's partly artificially flavoured as the smoke profile has a slight cardboardy edge to it.

Having said that, with a splash of milk it's perfectly do-able...

Good old pine smoke tea. If I want that taste, I pull out my pipe and smoke latakia.

Still, some Lapsangs have a marvelous smoke profile where the smoke adds up in stead of overwhelm. Clearly the one I had yesterday was not in that class.
