Thumbs up Re: What beers are you enjoying?

I'm not much of a beer drinker, but I've been working on a 6 pack of Shiner Smokehaus that I'm liking a lot.

Lately, I've been enjoying Okocim porter.

Okocim is a Polish label. All of their beers have been quality, but I think that their Porter stands out above the rest. It is a bold powerhouse of a porter. I'm trying to recall the proper taste profile at the moment... strong coffee balanced with just a bit of cream and sugar, and a touch of woodsyness. Underneath it all rests a touch of anise to dance around on the finish.

You are welcome to come by Brother, though the party likely won't start until close to 1AM.

My favorite beer. I picked up four bottles of the 120, plan on aging two and slowly enjoying a couple over the weekend.

Samuel Smith Nut Brown Ale takes a very close second.

And can't go wrong with Chimay Grand Reserve or any of the Chimays.

Had a Pop Skull last night. This one got much better with some time on it. I remembered that it wasn't that good straight when it came out.
