Re: Red's Fans Check in
Only 3.5 games back. It's still anyone's season from this point, but we have a lot of bugs to work out.

Re: Red's Fans Check in
This might be a year where the Reds could suprise if the division continues to be as crappy as it is right now, I am very suprised that the division is so bad. They are going to need to find a 4th and 5th starter though as the season goes on, thus far they have very few outings where everything has worked for them. Also the Reds have won 9 games of their 16 in the last at bat of the game, good for now, but you won't always end up winning in those situations.

Heisey with a HR last night.
Cueto looked great too, but it was against the Bucs...

Re: Red's Fans Check in
No its the Pirates. This division is horrid right now, particularly the bottom of it.

Re: Red's Fans Check in
Nice to see Bailey bring his ERA DOWN to 5.66 and Stubbs bring his BAvg. to almost .200 against the Pirates today. I am still not sold on either of these two bums

Re: Red's Fans Check in
Only 1 game back from first place! This weekend's series will determine who is the division leader (at least temporarily). I hate to say it, but I think it'll be just like the last two, we'll win one, then the Redbirds will win the other two.

Not bad, not bad. I'm trying to temper my enthusiasm as it was just the Pirates, but it is a good sign to see 2 complete games and the top of the line up is red hot right now. We'll see what happens this weekend. I'm with Andy, if we take 1 out of the 3 I will be happy.

Re: Red's Fans Check in
You would be a homer if they were 12.5 games back with 13 to play.

Re: Red's Fans Check in
Sounds like a good bet to me. My Cards are playing like little league right now ... can''t hit, can't pitch and can't field. Just got swept by the Astros for crying out loud, a team with the worst record (13-21) in the National League.

Re: Red's Fans Check in
Good game tonight by the Redlegs. The bullpen tried to blow it in the end but they still held on. Nice to see Stubbs up his average to .200 with his hit today.

Re: Red's Fans Check in
If by a great game you mean 1 for 4 with two strikeouts.
He had a hit when it counted but he still is only hitting .200 for an everyday player.
