Both will face much better teams in the second round and we will see from there. That all said I think we very well could see an Original Six finals. It would be a great matchup! |

Been following the Bruins since the late '50's so I am used to being hurt in later rounds. Still would love to see an original six finals.

Has Calgary been taking diving lessons from Montreal?

Nothing worse than a team of "divers". They really need to make more calls on that to stop it.

BarneyBandMan and I were at the Hurricanes/Devils Game last night in Raleigh.
Hated the OT loss by the 'Canes, but we walked out beside Bill Cowher, former Coach of the Steelers. He has a house in the area and was the celebrity guest responsible for our traditional "Hurricane Siren" sounded just before the puck is dropped. His jaw was even bigger than I expected after seeing it on TV.

Hell of a game tonite between Chicago and Calgary. Just a really physical game with lots of great plays.
Half of the third left but both teams are STILL playing like the game just started. |

Re: NHL '08- '09 Thread
If anyone see the Rangers tell them they missed a game tonight. The B squad filled in but lost.

Re: NHL '08- '09 Thread
They didn't even look like they were playing Playoff grade hockey. I was watching the game wondering what the hell was wrong with them. Both teams looked like they were playing an early season regulation game. WTF?

I'm no Caps fan, but how do you figure Ovechkin is overrated? The guy does it all.
