Atlanta's goalie (Pavelic?) stopped 23 of 24 shots in the first, Thrashers up 3-1.

Watching Edmonton V. Washington.

All Oilers first 2 periods. Now Ovechkin has turned it on. Scored 2 goals and hit a post in the first few minutes of the 3rd. I predict the hat trick.

Few early penalties on both sides of Wings vs Hawks. Bertuzzi took a good penalty on a break away for Toews. Almost halfway through the 1st.

And Duncan Keith just scored on a power play 1-0 bad guys

Hawks win 3-0 Season series 1-1 now.

Neither side looked that great. Hawks pulled it out, 2 goals from defenseman which also happened to the Wings the night before against Dallas.. Huet had an easy night only facing 20 shots. Kane went out with an injury hopefully not too serious.

Wings need some bodies back.. 3 Defenseman out and 5 regular players doesn't help our effort. Wings vs Hawks again Wednesday! It definitely is Christmas week

Osgood gave up horrible goals to Campbell and Byfuglein. Even the missing players couldn't have helped them tonight the way Ozzie played.

Hawks puck control, especially between Keith and Seabrook, looks like the Wings of a couple years ago.

Yep, Osgood really didn't play well tonight.

Huet sure did

Defense did too. I think Keith and Seabrook are the best tandem in the NHL at this point. Hjalmarsson is a future AllStar, and Hendry has been playing well after being a forward for a spell. Even Sopel didn't look 50 years old tonight.

I see the Preds in the hunt for a while though. It will be fun watching things play out this year.

Preds are for real...that line with Arnott, Sullivan and Erat is scary.

We are 2-2 against them so far, splitting at each arena.

Carefull now. Thats a rough picture. While Osgood is definetly not the old Osgood I still believe him to be a hall of famer based on his post season play and his body of work. I am no redwings fan. Actually cant stand them as a Sharks fan, but Osgood is just one of those guys.

Friggin Bersmoochi needs to score atleast one a night till the midway point.

Marty Brodeur is a Hall of Famer too, but he still has stinker nights. Tonight was a BIG stinker for Osgood.

Sure hope not, for several reasons.
