Re: First Firearm Thread.
My dad always wanted a Henry. He never wanted one of the large bores, he just really wanted a "Golden Boy". I was able for find one for him Christmas of 2012. As you can see, he was happy as a little boy in a candy shop!
Little did we know that was our last Christmas together, but I'm really glad that it was special for him!

Well in the market for a new carry gun guys.
In the lead is the M&P Shield or Kahr CM9/CM40.

I agree with Remo cant go wrong with the shield. In 40 unless you dont like 40 for some reason.

Re: First Firearm Thread.
Not a Shield owner but have the full sized M&P in both 9mm and .40. Somewhat prefer the 9mm version, more shots and less recoil.

Re: First Firearm Thread.
Ok. Shield in 9mm or Walther PPS in 9mm. I'm gonna go with 9mm due to the extra round mag capacity vs 40.

Re: First Firearm Thread.
M&P Shield in 9mm is my summer carry.
Winter, I can carry whatever, but typically (currently) is my CZ 75D PCR. It's kinda heavy but it's an awesome shooter. |

Re: First Firearm Thread.
Winter time I carry a Glock 23. Great feel in the hand and it holds 13 rounds of 40S&W
Summer carry is an XDS 9mm with a versa carry holster. It works very well at the conceal part, but it's kind of uncomfortable if you wear it for a long time. So I guess I'm in the market for a good CCW holster for side or kidney carry for my Glock and XDS. Any suggestions?
