What a crazy suspension filled season. Ovechkin just got his. Now if they would only suspend certain referees for their actions

Sharks are not going well. Clowe and Havlat out and now it looks like Burns is out.. Doesn't look like Sharks are going to close the gap as the Wings are killing it.

I'm just hoping that with the suspension mania this year that Tim Thomas does not miss a game for ducking the President yesterday.

Fan reaction in Boston seems to be heavily against Thomas' decision.
Off to the Hawks game soon. Sorry, Mike, going with the TC jersey for sentimental reasons.

Re: NHL '11 - '12 Thread
I don't care what he does as long s he stops pucks.
But it was reported he did not show his face in the visitors locker room this morning at the Bruins practice. I would say that was kind of chicken ****.

Should be a good one, I was thinking of heading in to the game tonight but I went to Chuckie Cheese with some sick kids instead

Big third for effort, too little too late.
The Hawks all looked like they were already on break with the exception of Hossa and Andrew Shaw. If we had 18 Shaws out there tonight, we would have won in a rout.

I think 4 teams will make the playoffs from the Central, Matt, there order is my only question.
Shaw had more legs than a Chernobyl centipede tonight....Love the kid!

BTW, Wings are first in the NHL with 67 points and 33 wins. Overall I think they're doing rather well. Ian White was a good pickup with the retirement of Rafalski. Not an easy guy to replace. They need to tighten up on the defensive turnovers, especially in their own zone. Also, while White is playing pretty well, I still see some plays that shows me he's not quite 100% comfortable in the offense or with the players around him. Half way through his first season here I kind of expect that. Hopefully that won't be an issue come playoff time. Go Wings!
