Just opened a 5 lb bag of Tanzania AB Burka Estate from Sweet Maria's. It was part of the 20 lb African Sampler they offered last Nov.

I'm a pound and a half into a 5 pound bag of Congo Kivu Bukavu-Beni from Sweet Maria's.

We really like this bean...then I looked at the short description and I notice part of the "flavor profile description" is Fresh Tobacco. That's a first for me

Today I am roasting a pound of Rwanda Nyamasheke. I'll take this one right through first crack.

The flavor notes from Sweet Maria's describe this one as having "natural sugar sweetness, saturated black tea note, subtle fruit tones." I have three more pounds of this one and then my 20 lbs from the African bean special are done.
