Re: What cigar did you smoke today II?
Had a CAO Criollo rubusto and it hit the swet tooth spot. If you like sweet and hints of citrus then you'll love this one! I thoroughly enjoyed it. It's definitely a medium / medium stick - which is out of character for me. It felt "light" almost airy... But sweet and citrusy. Not a constant annoying sweet... But a hint that just tempts the palate for more. I would call this stick "refreshing." it was well complimented by my Jefferson Reserve Bourbon Barrel Stout beer.
I later smoke a Padilla 1932 torpedo. It has been a while since I smoked a 1932 torpedo (usually get rubustos) and I was disappointed until the very middle of the second third. I don't recall the start to this stick being so "blah" and thin smoked... Perhaps it is a dud or the shape interfering with the smoke. Either way it wasn't doing well until the middle of the second third. That's when the flavor started rolling. Unfortunately I had to toss it as we were leaving the park to head home. Thankfully I have more torpedos at home and I'll try another in a few days to see if this one today was a dud.

Rocky Patel Vintage 1990 Petite Corona
Pretty darn good smoke to end the day. Sat under my carport and watched the lightning show of a summer storm that passed through. Wanted a short smoke and this one did the trick. About 45mins of goodness. Learned to smoke smaller RG slower to avoid bitterness and heat. |

Re: What cigar did you smoke today II?
Today, I had three, cause it's the weekend. My first cigar of the day was an Anejo No. 46 at Neptune's B&M. If any of you guys are around in Miami and are done visiting Little Havana's factories, I suggest you drop by here, it's definitely a nice lounge. The second cigar of the day was a Padron 1964 Principe Maduro in my porch. My last cigar of the day was a Padilla Miami Robusto.

First smoke out of my new Kristoff/Vengeance sampler I liked this - good flavors that developed as it smoked
