My highlight (other than hanging out with Tony)was my other buddy Matt pointing out that the Goose Island BC Vanilla was not being finished (~3 ounces left) and sitting out warm , so I put it back in the cooler. Then later when Tony opened the Parabola and I had tried it, we mixed the two in a glass. It was very good, and fun to know that statistically speaking no one in the world was drinking that specific beer right then...if ever.

Good times indeed.

Russian River Consecration. Boy this very different. Probably needs to be aged a lot more to mellow out the flavours.

They're usually (depending on the particular batch) a year old by the time they are bottled. What flavors need to be mellowed out?

BTW, this is one of the few RR sours I have not had, I'm overdue for ordering a couple bottles.

I should of postEd after I finised it. I'm not sure if it was due to just waking up or it being my first sour. The first taste was extremely sour but then went away as I kept drinking.

2011 Sierra Nevada Summerfest. I do enjoy nice, crisp lagers in the summertime heat, and this fit the bill.
