Re: First Firearm Thread.
Thanks.
Can't wait for lower due sometime in the next few weeks, already paid for. I have their grip also and a Giselle trigger for it. They are now coming out with an engraved BCG also and a barrel. Definitely planning on getting them.

I couldn't catch them in stock anywhere for quite a while but came across them for $380 from Lanbo's Armory today. Hopefully I'll have it at the range next week!

Re: First Firearm Thread.
You mean the P238?
My wife has the HD model that has more weight to it. Very 1911 like. Incredibly accurate with minimal recoil compared to my Ruger LCP. Great night sights standard.

Re: First Firearm Thread.
While it costs about twice as much as an LCP, it's 10 times better.
My wife who is still skidish handles it like a pro. The non HD does have a slight more recoil, but minimal. Only issue with it, a non issue if you are use to 1911's, is that you need to carry it with the hammer cocked, and as result, I think the safety on is a must

Re: First Firearm Thread.
A semi-tale of autos
Added the third from top today. S&W Bodyguard 380. Top of frame is my oldest, my Baby Browning .25. Retiring it today to the gun safe, just too hard to find parts if it should break. Next down is the Bodyguard .380, which will replace the Baby Browning as a daily carry. Really nice action on the S&W, much easier for my wife to rack than the Ruger LCP we also looked at. Next is the Ruger LC9 9mm she carries in the car. The biggest is the S&W 9mm I picked up several months ago, to rotate with my Browning BDA .380 as a daily carry. Browning is the gun safe, or it would be in photo too.
