Fortunately for the Packers, there is no 5th down available for the San Diego Chargers

For me, it was a nail biter as I only was able to listen on radio this afternoon...

Unreal box score:
Combined passer stats:

59 of 94 for 918 yards!! 4 TD's and zero INT's.

Unfortunately, it wasn't on here, either....had to follow the little football up and down the field on ESPN's app thingy

Well, the last 60 seconds of the 4th Quarter was fairly hair raising (what hair I do have on top of my head)

It was great to see the D step forwards during the final seconds of play

A week off for a bye and then its prep time and off to Denver to play the Broncos

And the bye came at a perfect time. They're the walking wounded out there (the most injured team in football, AGAIN), and a week off will do some good to get these guys healthy (healthier).

Anyone see anything even a little bit positive about last night? Shocking to me that Rodgers was probably as big a problem as any. Was he hung over? Almost like he was playing scared. Scared to throw an interception. Scared he was going to get hit (understandably.) Scared (or unwilling or unable) to accurately read defense and change up the call. I'm a big Rodgers fan, but that performance was pathetic. As were the lines, and the secondary. I have to wonder if we won't look back and think that 6-0 against lousy teams meant nothing. I'm not panicking, but I can't believe I'm nervous about having to face the Vikings twice yet.

One thing for sure, we got our a $$' handed to us by Denver. Denver came ready to play and the Packers looked anything but ready.

Props to the Broncos D for keeping the Packers O off balanced and out of sync. Heck of a job. The Packers were simply out played by a more motivated team, and possibly healthier team too.

I agree with you Dave, there were many times the cameras were on A.Rodgers, and he looked like a deer caught in the headlights of an on coming truck. That truck being the Denver D...

Denver's secondary is stout, guys.
Their D is nothing to sneeze at, across the board.
With nobody open, what's a brother to do? You gotta get tired of getting squashed.
And, as Stephen said, you gotta be healthy if you're gonna stand up against a team like the Broncos.
The game was kind of a rip-off. If everyone was healthy, it had all the makings of one hell of a game.

"We had an opportunity for a pitch-and-catch touchdown, and I got scared by something. I can't explain. It was a mistake for me, and something I'll think about on the ride home. I don't know who was in my face; all I know is I had Randall (Cobb) wide open for a touchdown." -- Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers

I didn't watch yesterday....so any insight from someone who did would be appreciated. But by AR's own admission, he actually is scared....um, Aaron...I was just kidding....really.

You guys should take a minute to watch this episode of Dude Perfect.
If you're not familiar with Dude Perfect, it's a YouTube thing where guys set up and make all kinds of bizarre trick shots.
Aaron Rodgers and Chris Paul are in this one.
I've watched a number of episodes along the way, but this one is by far the best.
Super cool.

Keeping my fingers crossed for a Packer win today, and hoping they brought their "game bag" with them

Too bad for the Vikings this morning. Was hoping their kicker was going to make that chip shot, but....

Thought I'd revive this thread. Not much has been positive this season, there are woes, but hope springs eternal.

They have been looking better though for the last 2 weeks.

Am looking forward to see how they will handle Seahawks this Sunday.

Peace of the Lord be with you.

OK, so now everybody is talking the Packers in the Super Bowl. I am not sure about that, but they are looking better.

Wilson was sure PO'd about his Packer performance and is taking it out on the Rams tonight!

Good to know that we're in the Super Bowl already

We still have the Bear's in Chicago, the Vikings at Lambeau, and the Lions in Detroit to contend with. Agree, Packers looking good and confident. Need's to stay that way too. Should be a good home game against the Vikings!

I sure do miss the weather back in the Northern states. Sunny in Chicago, currently 12* and looking at -10* later tonight. Green Bay currently 3* and looking at -10* tonight. Time to break out the cheddy brots and brew

Didn't watch but saw the "highlights". Once again, the Bears snatch defeat out of the jaws of victory.

I do not like nail-biter games. It was a lot closer than it needed to be for my tastes. Although, it was a game you had to watch till the end.
