I'm sure I would love Hartnell is he was in Red and White, Joel. Regardless, I am hoping Emery has a big year, he deserves it.

Let's Go Hawks!

Avs are 3-0 with their win in Toronto. MacKinnon has 4 points(all assists) in his first 3 NHL games.

Looking forward to a good season.

Let's go Bruins.

First two games they looked pretty good but they still need to work out the kinks.

Hockey!

Watched the game. The Rangers were God awful last night. There were points in the second and third where they literally stopped skating in their own zone and just watched the Sharks cycle the puck. That combined with the Sharks new speed style of play with the influx of kids in the lineup, and every bounce imaginable going the Sharks way made for a epic game. That Thornton Burns Hertl line is going to do a lot of scoring. Each one is huge but they all bring a different element. Hertl is the nicest kid so its awesome seeing him do well. Nieto who is a Cali boy and played for LA Selects growing up also had a goal and 2 apples.

Wow!

Flyers finally win a game... albeit with their second coach in four games. I'm glad the organization had the balls to make the coaching change so early, because if they let it get to 10 or 12 games and things didn't change, it would have been a deep hole to start the season.

Tough times for Peter Laviolette... fired by the Flyers and having a dispute with BoA. LINK

Part of me wonders if the distraction of the latter didn't ultimately cause the former. (Lawsuit filed just two weeks ago).

Avs are looking good, Boys.

The Bulin Wall gets his first start for the Hawks in several years, hoping he outshines Nabokov in the battle of the old guys.

Wild finally won their first game. Have outplayed the opponents in each game, which I guess could be a moral victory. Still only have scoring from the top line though.....season could go either way at this point.

I hate to say this but Matt Cooke has been a great pick up so far. 3 goals, 1 assist and solid PK shifts.
