86 here today, kinda makes it hard to sleep during the day when it's that warm! I love it, except I didn't have time to sit on the deck and enjoy a stick like I wanted. That makes Jeffy an unhappy boy!

We finally cracked and turned the heat on this morning. I looked up this thread to see when we turned it on last year, we made it a week longer this year.
We turned on the gas fireplace last week just to break the chill in the evening, so it's really almost to the day.
How are you guys doing?

We've had the heat on for a couple weeks, on and off. My wife has a built in thermostat. If she ain't comfortable, I'm not gonna be able to get comfortable, if you catch my drift.

Had to finally turn mine on Friday when my wife was sick. I freaking hate turning on the heat. But with wife and 3 kids, I kinda had no choice.

Turned it on yesterday. 64 was just a tad too chilly in the house.

No heat for me!
Truth be told I had my AC on until Saturday night.
I'm willing to bet my wife puts it on while I'm at work tomorrow.
She'll likely turn it off before I get home though, then lie that she didn't turn it on!

Stocking up on firewood right now. Looks like another cold winter in store. I guess all that carbon emission limiting stuff is working already.

Wifey turned on the heat on Thursday I think, upstairs gets HOT! I hate having an upstairs, next house will be single level.

Upstate NY has been 30s/40s at night, high 50s/low 60s during the day. Heat is set to kick on at 64, but the house warms up enough during the day where the heat hasn't kicked on yet.
