That's true but you can file a claim against them if they mis-deliver it, even if you don't have insurance.

I have had Post Canada lost a package of 300$ worth of cigars only to find out it had been sitting in the back warehouse of the postal delivery. I had checked the tracking information and it said out for delivery. Needless to say, that status never changed. Man did I ever have the girl working at the post office have it. She is so arrogant and slow. Last time I called up the post office to ask if my package had been received as the mailman had never brought me the package. She replies, "I can't help you, I'm with a client". Apparently I do not fall under the category of "client".

There are letter carriers in the asylum somewhere, but I still let fly on the USPS. In my little corner of the world,
you will never meet a lazier, less motivated, who gives a $**+ group of un-firable people in your life. They are
actually worse than DMV. They suck and always will. Theives, living off of my money, one I know even calls
in to radio shows, during BOTH of my drive times AND at my lunch time. I KNOW how long it takes to get on
the air on the radio, and yet somewhere this ahole finds the time. DOn't get me started on the way they slow
walk all day and drive their overtime wages. I understand pacing oneself, but they are out well after dark
delivering mail. EVERY DAY. (drops mic from chest level) I'm OUT.

That was kind of the effect I was going for. I can take or leave the USPS. Everything I have
ever sent has arrived as expected. As for the letter carriers here in town, like I said....
The one I have takes til Thursday to deliver the "junk mail" better known as the Piggly Wiggly,
Kroger and Schnuck's circulars that come out on Tuesday. By the time I know what's onsale,
it's all gone, lol. But I complained through the electronic 'ratting out' software. They
make you go around the world to get TO IT, but I navigated it. Complained twice. Said they
would repsond promptly to it, but apparently my letter carrier is also in charge of feedback,
cause no one ever replied and I still get my circulars late. But what she didn't know is I know
the Piggly Wiggly top man in town, who ironically is named Rick James, and I told him about his
circulars he paid good money for coming late, and more often than not, not at all....well, that took
care of THAT.
