Re: The Breath Thread
I brush then rinse with Smartwash. I also wash my "Leonidas, Spartan beard" (as my wife calls it). Smoke just loves hangin' on to the beard.
Now, I only do all the above if I'm around people that care, such as the woman I live with and the beard washing only occurs if I smoke before bed. How can I "love" her if she can't stand the smoky beard?...By doing the above breath/beard treatment...that's how. |

And as for the source for plutonium, I had a good one - but Homeland Security shut it down, the bastids. Good thing I had a couple keys in my sock drawer.

I have tried most everything. And this works like no other. It will eliminate any traces of the cigar in your mouth. But around your mouth and on your clothes/hair will still be a "problem".

Re: The Breath Thread
My wife usually doesn't care but I like to rinse or brush my teeth a hour or so after I finish smoking. I like having that aftertaste for a bit but I hate waking up with it the next day if I don't rinse.

I am recently single and have taken to not caring. If I am going out I will do the shower + peanut butter + mouth wash + brush + floss + gum. Between all of those I am minty fresh when I get out of the bathroom

Re: The Breath Thread
TheBeard and I smoked five cigars between us last night (we puff-puff-pass a lot). Afterwards he had such tasty "cigar mouth" that I threatened to roll up his beard and smoke it.
Don't know what it was about the sticks we herfed down that had that effect, but kissing him had this really intense "good tobacco and cedar" taste and smell. I'm not generally a fan of any type of stale cigar aromas on clothes or hair; once the leaf is smoked the oils degrade pretty rapidly and change their taste profile. But apparently some cigars work better than others for leaving a nicer smell, at least in the short term. If you are curious about the lineup, it was a Tat SW Maduro, a Tat Petite, a Gurkha Titan, a Rocky Patel 1990 and a Diablo. Rob got a lot more of the first Tat than I did, and I got a lot more of the Gurkha and the Rocky.
