I use to buy K-cups until I started buying my coffee from a friend who roast his own beans. I bought the screen kit for my Kuerig. I tried it with regular coffee and it didn't seem to work well. With my friends home roasted blend it works perfect, I think because it is a bit more coarse. Now that's all I use.

The style I use:

This style might even be better?:

I bought two of these off Amazon a month or so ago. They work awesome. Easy to fill, not bad to clean and I think you get a better tasting coffee than the normal k-cups. Plus you can use whatever coffee you like.

That's my experience as well. The finer grinds just seem to get pushed out of the way with the water pressure. The coarse grinds seem to stay in place and allow the water to mix better.
I think that aftermarket red one above might fix that problem as it appears to fan the water flow out more.

This is a great thread guys. My wife and I are planning to get a Kuerig because she is switching to decaff and we only drink one or two cups a day. This will help us with blends to try and places to get them.

Caribou blends
Lake and Lodge
Mountain Blueberry
Kona blend, I was told that green mountain wasn't going to be making it, but I still see it in stores!

These are my rotation, also Donut House is a great coffee, my favorite right now is the Caribou Daybreak Coffee, if you want bold go with lak and lodge or Kona!

Give Timothy's Parisian Nights a try. I love that one.

I'm also a fan of Sumatran Reserve, Caribou, Dark Magic. I plan on trying Mohagany, and black tiger.

Having a cup of Dunkin Donuts original blend from a K Cup. It's good, but not worth it... $11.99/14.

To be honest, it tastes a little like Green Mountain's Our Blend.

Thanks for the heads-up on the Dunkin Donut K-Cups. I was getting ready to buy a pack, but I was having a hard time pulling the trigger at the price they're asking. Now, I can save the money!

The Coffee People's - Donut Shop Blend is one of my 3 favorites. I find it hard to believe that the Dunkin Donut Blend could be any better.

I wanted to add that if you have a Lowes nearby you might want to check them out. They had 4 or 5 varieties I couldn't find anywhere else.
