Skille got shipped back to the Icehogs today, best hold off on that one!

I think Bourque, Burish and Chelios are all available free agents.

Turns out my offense isn't nearly as bad as my goaltending. I do have one win and the lowest goals against average

Actually, you have the highest goals against average...but who's counting?

Why can't Skille stay in the show? He should have stayed at the UW if he's going to play in the IHL. Too bad.

I thought he looked pretty good up here, and I would be suprised if he isn't back at some point this season.

Penguins showed some grit tonight... beat my 'Canes after being down most of the game.

Hurricanes show flashes of good play - then fall apart. Hoping they put it together. I would like them to make the playoffs this year!
(2006 seems like a long time ago... sigh)

Hate to admit it... but that does make me feel better!

(At least I resisted posting my pic with the Cup again. )

Hope you guys are treating Craig Adams and Andrew Ladd well. Ladd was one of my favorite Hurricanes.

(sorry for getting lost and winding up in the Fantasy thread... must be 3:00 AM or something.)

Adams has been scratched every game, and word is Ladd may be gone soon with Quenneville at the helm, Joe.

Yeah... had heard about Adams. Shame... he was well-liked in Raleigh.

Sorry to hear that about Ladd.

I don't think the new coach is impressed, Joe....frankly, he hasn't looked willing to "pay the price" so far this year.

In Chicago, no pics of the Stanley Cup in my lifetime so far. We Chicago fans have to be content with the Wolves Calder Cups the past decade.

Nice pic...I know when Wade one the Jack Butterfield Trophy(Playoff MVP in 2004) his kids would take it outside when they would play street hockey and would drink kool aid out of it. Only later did they realize that the kool aid stained the inside all to hell.

I'm not sure if the trophy guy got the stains out but I saw some pictures of it(with the stains) when I was out in BC this summer. It was pretty bad

Who has Danny Briere in their pool? It looks like he will be sidelined up to a month because of a torn abdominal muscle. Ouch!

So I'm watching the Leafs last night not expecting much. They are playing Valiquette(one of my many back ups). I'm torn as the Leafs are still my team but I want the points from Valiquette. What happens? The Leafs score lots in a short amount of time and good old Steven goes from 0 GA to 5GA.
