That's why I picked up Bernier in the fantasy leagues, figure it's only a matter of time...

6 goals from 6 different players tonight for the Wild. All around quality win. Boy the Kings are starting slow.

Hossa becomes the 44th player in NHL history to score 500 goals.

And a quick look at the list makes it seem that only 8 others on the list won at least 3 Stanley Cups.

Nice goin' Hoss!

Another comeback from 4 goals down.
Wicked game by Laine - his first NHL hatrick.

A nice come-from-behind win for the Bruins. Marchand is just on fire; his goal shooting between the legs of the d-man was a thing of beauty.

Who was playing goal and wearing the Rask jersey?

Avs sit 3-1 with wins over Dallas, Pittsburgh & Tampa. We're 4 games in, so a grain of salt, but Bednar appears to be putting the boys in position to win games. Winning is better than losing.

Need more SOG.

Glad your club is playing well. Was beginning to miss the nice rivalry the Avs and Wild were working on.

There aren't must win games, although you can argue every game is must win, don't worry as soon as there is any kind of pressure at all he'll fold like a cheap suit.

Gretzky is sadly very past it. Messier is still awesome!

I worked at the Marriott Long Wharf in Boston and the NHL teams used to stay there (they still might) but the first time I saw Messier he was in a suit and glasses and looked nothing like I expected, that was about 23 or years ago when he was playing for NY. Looked like some slick financial type.

I felt bad watching Gretzky skate.

Teemu Selanne said if he skated hard for 2 weeks he could play in the NHL. I think he would look awesome to the right of Johhny Toews.

Was a tad unfair, as Teemu is only a year out of the NHL and the some of the other blokes were in their sixties. I must say Messier has an awesome shot - top corner rockets! Not bad for an old guy....

Messier has always seemed like the kind of guy that could be in his 80s and still kick the crap out of most guys.

50/50 draw in Winnipeg yesterday totalled 400,000$ ... 200,000$ to the winner !!!

That's like 14$ on tickets from every person there !!!

Or the cost of six beers in Rogers place in Edmonton .
