Default Re: Viaje 50/50

Thanks for the review, Huy--I smoked my first Viaje 50/50 on Sunday and didn't really care for it. Started out peppery & overbearing, and the rest of the flavors were kinda muddled and lost in the harshness. It had been sitting for a few months, maybe it needed more? Didn't care for this one much.

I have a Summerfest sitting in the humi, maybe I'll let that one rest for awhile before lighting. Hope it agrees with my palate better!

I smoked my first on Saturday. I also didn't love it. I have another one that I'm letting rest. Maybe it'll come around.

This might be the "it's so ugly, it's cute" stick. Just sayin'.

I've found that the different vitola 50/50's are completely different from one another. I'm on a Corona Gorda kick with these. (Huy probably already knew this...). I also like the Robusto's a lot too.

I went to several B&M's looking for both the 50/50 and the summerfest.... Found not one! Really curious about both of them!

Lol yes, I think I figured that out a while ago. But back to this cigar, I would have to agree with you on this as well. I found that different sizes had different taste.

BTW Walt... our buddy has some exclusivo (bundle now, no more jar) in, if you did not know that already.

I would have thought you'd be saying "Nice pick up on those (insert QTY here) bundles dude"... And to stay on topic here...there's a 5'er of 50/50 Corona Gorda's in that pkg.

The bundle Viaje Exclusivo are excellent and the smell is just out of this world. I also love the 50/50 the Corona Gorda are yummy.

I'm liking them. I've smoke two thus far and both have been far fuller, still in the medium range, in the first half than in the second. I did not notice a transition as such, but I did notice the a change.

The no. 1. I bought a fiver. These are box worthy IMO.

Nice review. I kept looking at your big toe for some reason in the pictures. Guess I'm easily distracted.
