I am going to give it another go with a Nub Plus Habanos, if it is still in the bottom of my Humi.

That is what Ken got his current record with, solid ash but you lose an inch as it turns to ash, not a good choice if you are trying to win as he went down to the Nub!

Plus, I believe it started out 5 inches long but after the ash shrinkage it was only 4"!
