Ya I did hear that and agree that its was a class act move by Savard.

Most of the media up up north revolved around Coli talking about his son and New Media vs. Main Stream Media as the story was broken by a blogger.

Nash is a helluva hockey player, I've seen him play live several times in Chicago. Off to a good start too.

I look a the standings on the year and while I knew LA would be good I had no idea. Didnt see the jackets being this good. Look at the lightning. I do like it though as its nice to see a shake up.

I hate to say it but I think Marty B may finally be at the end of the line. He has looked real bad this year and now hes hurt.

I think it is interesting how the West has worked out so far. The top 13 teams are within 7 points of eachother, only 2 real bottom feeders

Some interesting stats there. Stamkos likes to score on the road and Semin likes to score at home

The good news is they apparently don't need him after the show last night. My caps are killing me.

I hosted the Rockford IceHogs weekly coaches show “Hog Talk” Monday night. The show featured Chicago Blackhawks General Manger of Minor League Affiliations Mark Bernard, IceHogs Forward Brandon Bollig and Goaltender Alec Richards.

Thought you guys might be interested in taking a listen, just clink the link in my signature.

You forgot one.

Only Philly has more points (30 to 28) but they've played 4 more games than the Wings. Wing's are 8-1-1 in the last 10.

Yeah Wings are on a tear. I have not looked at who they have been playing as to whether the teams they are beating have a winning record or not. Either way though they are definetly winning the games they need to.

It will be interesting to see if Nick Lindstrom's age catches up to him this year. From my point of view he has been the best d-man in the league so far and a big reason why the Wings have been doing so well.

So far he looks like a Norris candidate once again.

Good game between the Sharks and Hawks tonight. Was glad to see the Sharks get the win. Was also glad to see the Sharks out hit the Hawks and have the majority share of big hits. There were a couple of really big clean hits by Murray and even Marleau. Scotty played the pest to a T drawing penalties and throwing his body everywhere. My wife had a laugh on one hit where a Hawk basically threw him down. He still kept going though. I think this sets the table for the next meeting as the Sharks will play the Hawks in Chicago after playing the night before in Minn. I dont think they will fair as well in that meeting. Then they fly to LA for a game. Will be a tough stretch.

Been watching Clowe fight this year. He is turning into a Bull

Hey how about those Thrashers I said it last week and saying it again. They are building a great young team down there.

Hey at this point I am just wanting this to light a damn spark in this team and Niemi. The inside info I have was his comments and showing up with his Hawks helmet to camp resulted in some tension between him and the sharks. There was definitely not a warm reception for him. Would like to see these guys bond and this was the kind of game that might do it.

Also want to see the Thrashers be this years Coyotes and get some good attendance. Then we can see people call for the Panthers or Coyotes to get moved. Now that fugly isn't in the West I can cheer for him. I like some of the players on the Thrash and its nice to see them relevant.
