I hated, hated Monk's Revenge the last time I had it. This time it was pretty decent. As for Road Trip, I liked it. It is a decent pilsner and perfect for standing out over the grill today. Its didin't blow my mind but I could easily drink a bunch of them on a warm day.

No, they are both good at different things. Both have good (and meh) brews in there regular line-ups but Terrapin's Side Projects are hit or miss. Its weird because when they are on (Wake-n-bake, Hopzilla) they are on, but then they flub on others. Sweetwater's Dank Tank are consistently good beers, rarely great but always good. I guess what I am saying is Sweetwater is consistent but rarely mind blowing, where Terrapin shows flashes of brilliance but when they often seem to miss.

Oh and drinking a KBS as I type

07 Mephistopheles Stout, this stuff is dangerously good. I might need to attempt to get a few more bottles.

Friday night R.J. Rockers Buckwheat After Dark. They don't like it much at BA, but it was good for me,
very refreshing and just what I needed. Last night had the Red label Chimay from my three pack, went
with the lowest-reviewed first, it was great with a Cruzado cigar that BC Axeman sent me. Had a delicious
wine flavor but plenty of Ale to keep it balanced. Ironic that I was smoking a cigar with a name like "Cross"
and drinking beer made by monks on Easter weekend. The cigar got great marks on my blog, I was very
pleasantly surprised.

Enjoying a Guiness Extra Stout at the moment. Pairing nicely with a RP Cuban Blend.

New Glarus Spotted Cow.

Lagunitas IPA....easily one of the most disgusting beers I have ever tasted, it has the flavor of pine. Two sips and I pitched it before I wretched.

I've had a handful of Lagunitas. Their IPA isn't bad but I enjoy the Maximus more, it's a double IPA.

Different strokes, I guess....I thought that IPA might be the worst beer I ever tasted.

I like Lagunitas IPA.

But like Dave said, the Maximus is a bit better.
