You're right....not happy. I would HATE to lose him....

I will have to assume that it is 100% negotiation, I cannot believe that they would have any intention of not making a strong run at him....though maybe I am being naive?

It was really to bad the HHOF didn't induct Pat Burns before he passed.

IMHO he should have been inducted with the last group.

It definitely could be a negotiating ploy, E.J. Craig's agent told our friend that the Avs were planning on benching him before he got hurt, trying to diminish his perceived value. I feel bad for Craig, I think he has proved himself enough over the last 3 seasons that he shouldn't be getting dicked with like this.

Agree 100%.... Andersons' play made the Avs last year.... He made up for A LOT of mistakes the kids were making early.....pretty much carried that team the first half of the season.

Though Budaj played well in his absence, he is no Anderson.... Nothing coming up....I just don't see how they don't make a strong run at him

Hopefully he goes on a tear and shoves it right up their negotiator's arse.

Tough loss for the Caps last night in the shootout. After the first period, I thought they had a handle on the Flyers.

Cheers,

Cant beleive no one mentioned this Campbell email ordeal.

The emails

Really makes you wonder about things and how games may not be fixed, but how refs may be given direction.

Came home in time to watch the Jackets win, Nash hat trick.

I've been following that whole saga from its release, definitely not good form on Coli's part. To me its a emotional email that should never have been sent, but I don't think that he was actually trying to "direct a ref".

I don't know Coli personally but from the sounds of major people in the media he is a stand up guy. The media could have really run with the story and lambasted him, but most of them acknowledged that the e-mails were dumb but did not question his integrity. Most of the top figures in hockey reverberated the above.

That being said from a total fan perspective it is hard to trust Coli and weather he his making decisions without bias. The NHL obviously has tried to make this a non-story but the public has been pretty critical about the situation. Campbell isn't really helping the situation out as he vehemently disagrees that he should apologize to all involved.

I am kinda of siding with those people wanting an apology. Colin Campbell really has no business talking about his son, in that way with the head of officiating. Once thing is forsure Campbell did learn a valuable lesson about the privacy of emails.
