I collect vintage Walthers / I don't think anything they made in recent years deserves to wear the banner. The PPQ looks to much like a HiPoint

Ouch, harsh!

It is more comparable to a striker-fired H&K P30 than that firing brick.

LAR is no more...I love those OPS-4 ambi uppers too. You can dig deep in the pockets and go to gunbroker...

So here's a question. If I don't have a bore sight system, what's the best method to sight in my AR? Start at 25yd, dial it in, then move on to 100yd?

Just google 25 yard zero, it'll give you what you need to know. I think it like 1" below poa.

Edit, this isn't mine just found it on google images:

I've owned a Colt Delta Elite but sold it after realizing I was not gonna use it for carry out in the wilds. Too dang pretty.

Have a Glock 20SF and will be getting a 29SF soon. Wilson Combat or Nighthawk will be my 1911 choice. Both make some really nice looking 10mm autos.

Kimber has some good looking 10s too. May get two 1911's soon, one in 10 and one in 45. Those Kimber Gold Match IIs are nice!

That Kimber Gold Match is even prettier in person. I have a feeling I'll be buying a 3" 1911 once my wife gets her CCW and takes my Kahr PM9.

What type of firearm, rifle or handgun? Reason I ask is that so far there has been more negative than positive with semiauto handguns chambered for either .17 variant. Not sure any of the name makers are producing them now. From what I've been told it's somewhat the same with semiauto rifles, lots of functioning issues.

Couple of friends have bolt action rifles chambered for the .17 HMR and have had good luck with short range jackrabbit/prairie dog hunting, the small critters drop dead right on the spot most of the time.

Have you ever shot a bear with either of the 20's? Curions as to how the 10mm performed. I'm looking at getting one to carry while guiding bear hunts in SE Alaska. Everyone else carries 44 mags but that's just because they are more comfortable with revolvers. I carry a Glock 22 every day so I'd feel just fine with the 20.

No. My trips to such spots aren't with hunting bears and boars in mind. Just want the big critters to return the favor by not hunting me
