Exciting game played last night between the Rangers and Thrashers. Kovalchuk is back faster than anyone thought he would be. He picked right back up where he left off with a goal and two assists. Now if they could only win on home ice. (Home: 2-4-0; Away: 6-2-1)

Sharks lost in a shootout. The forwards have not been helping out the D much lately and Nabokov and the D are getting hung out. Nabokov is playing well so i is staying close. Hope this changes soon.

Hawks catch Toronto tonight, hoping they shut down Kessel and the boys.

Couldn't ask for a better home showing as the Thrashers dismantle the Kings 7-0. Kovalchuk gets two more goals to make it 12 goals in 10 games, with 17 points over that same span. Also, Pavelec gets his first shutout of what I hope is many more to come.

Isles are looking a bit better. Damn they love the OT and SO. I caught The gameat Washington on TV and I was happy with thier play. I think they lost a bit of physical bite.

Congrats on the OT win. Ruined what looked like an improbable comeback by the 'Canes. Happy they battled back to get the single point after being down 3-0 after the first period.

Sharks win.
Pretty boring game, but I guess they all cant be exciting. Listened in the car. Leafs flames game was exciting though. Leafs went down 2-0 in the first minute. Then fights and they got back into it making it 3-2 before it all fell apart. |

And yet again, another SO for the Isles. This one a loss. What is th record for OT games playeed by a team in NHL History? At this pace I am confident the Isles will blow it out of the water. |
