One bottle of Stagg down, one to go.
Maybe a trip to Total Wine to see what they have left.

I just pulled the trigger on a bottle of Parker's Heritage Collecton Golden Annversary bourbon! This is the one blended with bourbons from each decade since the 1960s (as old as 1968). I can't wait to try this one!

I opened my bottle of Eagle Rare 17 yr last night and poured it over a single ice cube. A great bottle of Bourbon but I don't think it was worth the price tag.

Arrgghh. Never use cold water/ice with fine bourbon. The molecules in colder water effect the bourbon in a negative way as compared to using room temp water. I read this on a bourbon bb, so I believe it to be true.

If you are used to bourbon, don't expect the same with GJ. It's not a bourbon, but a Tennessee whisky. Charcoal filtered like regular JD, but a bit smoother. I got a bottle during the holidays. I couldn't drink it neat, as I do with almost all bourbons. Had to mix in some water.

Tried a great new one this week; Old Grand Dad 114, this is sweet, rich, and syrupy like my standby Rittenhouse Rye 100 - it will be one to always have in the cabinet.

Tried my first Bourbon today

Woodford, I'm used to drinking blended/single malts so it was a nice change of pace.

Looking forward to trying some other ones
