Re: Red's Fans Check in
I listen to sports talk radio everyday. Yesterday, all the Reds beat reporters were saying how great Aroldis Chapman looked. Let me see if I can find some video.

Here you go. This article is a great read. Chris Burke's comments cracked me up. The video is also in the article: http://cnati.com/spring-training-201...-in-bp-001344/

Re: Red's Fans Check in
Aroldis Chapman's arm is shot before the season begins.
That was a huge waste of money... http://www.theonion.com/content/news...baker_destroys

"The line for Chapman was one scoreless inning with one hit, one hit batsman and two strikeouts. He threw 17 pitches, 12 for strikes, and twice reached 97 mph with his fastball. " We will see what happens on Monday. They play the Royals, right? |

Re: Red's Fans Check in
Who's gonna be the fifth starter?
Who's gonna be the starting LF and CF? Any thoughts? I think Gomes/Dickerson/Stubbs will be another platoon situation this year. I'm not a big fan of platoons, but it is what it is. As far as pitching, I'm still not sure. All signs point to Chapman right now, but I'm still not sold on him being ready yet.

Re: Red's Fans Check in
I want the 5th to be Chapman I don't know if that is possible though unless his control improves. I would like to see the platoon out there. Guys with fresher legs is better in my opinion.

Re: Red's Fans Check in
He's quoted saying that he's worked out all of his control issues. Although he looked good yesterday, I think that his control issues might still not be worked out.

Re: Red's Fans Check in
Lincoln's out of the running for the 5th starter. Still wondering why he was even in consideration, despite him asking Jocketty for a shot.
Yonder and a couple of other boys are also out of the running for the big team. Cuts are finally starting.
