Brand new beer at Trader Joe's. The Mission St. Anniversary 2011...should hit shelves in the next week. Very good Imperial Brown Ale. 8.5% alc. 2.99$ for 650 ml I drank 2 last night and Last edited by smelly4tay; 03-27-2011 at 07:28 PM. |

Ephraim, DIPA - Hill Farmstead Brewery (growler) #17 on BA's American Beers best of list - (http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/22511/62172) Brewdog - Tactical Nuclear Penguin Brewdog - Abstrakt AB:03 Brewdog - something else, forgot the name Malheur Brut Noir The Bruery - Provision Series, Gunge Gulunga - 100% Brett Alpine Beer Company - Ichabod Ale - sour pumpkin beer Cigar City - Oak Aged Seabass (growler) Maybe one or two others, but this is all I recall last night.

I stopped by Schlafly's taproom on the way home for a pint of Cask Coffee Stout.
It was underwhelming. However, my second try was their Dry Hopped Märzen. Wow! A totally great, new twist on an already great Oktoberfest!

How did you like the Ephraim landhoney? I had friends that spent a ridiculous amount of money to get growlers of that stuff. Haven't had any myself.

Making up for it with a Southern Tier unearthly imperial IPA and a smoke on the porch right now. 50 degrees today... 5" of snow planned for tomorrow. |
