RECAP TIME!

Yesterday: swisher sweet wine, black and mild (yes, yes I know. Terrible. But they were gifts from my little bro and I wanted to show him that I appreciated it.) And a Chateau Real Robusto by Drew Estate. Also a cohiba black pequeno. Man I love those things!

Today: another black pequeno

5 Vegas Classic Torpedo. Decent smoke. One dimensional, but satisfying. Pointiest Torp cap I've ever seen, however! I could poke someone's eye out with that thing!!

Yesterday, a Habanos Torres perfecto (Habanos Torres being a one-man cigar rolling operation in Mesa, Arizona). This was one of his mild/medium blends. It was a pretty tasty smoke but unfortunately the draw was too tight.

I've always wanted to try a Habanos Torres.

I had a Diablo Picante Robusto, aged for a while. Decent smoke.

My Father robusto that I picked up last week and left in my travel-dor. Wasn't bad, but it ran slightly down one side and wanted to go out a couple times.

Either the local shop keeps the humidity high or the hygrometer is off in my travel-dor.

I'll keep that in mind next time I'm down that way - unfortunately I don't get down that way very much due to the five hour round-trip drive time.

If you don't care to wait that long maybe one of the Phoenix herf crew can hook you up

Yesterday I had an arturo fuente maduro (gran reserve I think). That was gifted to me by Catfish2 back in 2007 or even earlier. The cigar itself eas from 2005. Did it knock my socks off. Rich, spicey, thick and rich. Like a very lively espresso. Thanks Don!
