Re: First Firearm Thread.
Anyone have opinions on different handgrips for the AR? Do you find the stock grip works just fine or do you prefer something else?

Re: First Firearm Thread.
I like the magpul miads with medium inserts for my hand. They are very adjustable to suite you needs. I don't like the standard grip due to the finger rest on them. I also tried the tango down battle grip but it felt to narrow to me.

Re: First Firearm Thread.
very much ends up being a personal thing. I love the feel of the hogue soft rubber. There's some various angles available. UCWRG even makes one that angled more straight up and down like an AK grip, if that suits you're style. Trial and error is your friend. For just testing out the grips, ordering a bunch from amazon and then paying a few bucks to ship back the ones you don't like may be the ticket.

Re: First Firearm Thread.
I think it depends heavily on your usage of the gun. If I wanted a single SHTF will not fail me gun, then there's no doubt I'd get the EOTech. If I was a professional 3gun competitor and shot red dots, then yeah, EOTech. All other uses depend on your available resources and order of importance.
