Lists are just lists...
But this one has some damn fine breweries on it... Glad to see Schlafly in @ 80... even though they are higher in my book! http://www.ratebeer.com/RateBeerBest...ers_012011.asp

Re: What beers are you enjoying?
Today I had Lagunitas A little sumpin' sumpin' ale. It was a lot like gumballhead but it finished a little more bitter than my liking. Wish that A little sumpin' Wild was still available out by me, loved that stuff.

I'm drinking a bomber of Avery "The Kaiser" that I forgot I had. This is a great Octoberfest, but at 9% abv it's kicking my butt.

Big Sky Trout Slayer Ale - Great in the snow.
And while I drink the Trout Slayer I can watch the snow on the Trout Cam at the local stream - less than 6 weeks till the season opens! http://www.mostateparks.com/bennett/troutcam.htm Last edited by captain53; 02-01-2011 at 03:31 PM. |

Last night I tried the Hoptimum. I paired it with a Bespoke cigar that I got from generous friend Seth - landhoney. I was also disappointed with the Hoptimum. Not sure how to describe it, but it was a little thin on the palate. Just did not have the flavor profile I was expecting. The cigar was enjoyable though. Glad I have some more Hopslam. |

That's it exactly--I wouldn't call it watery, but "thin" is perfect

Yeah i tried this a few months ago it is pretty intersting especially if you like banana bread. The price is alittle steep but its worth a try.
