I'm jealous of all you guys who managed to get some Hopslam this year --enjoy!

Last night I relied on an old stand-by (that I can get plenty of!)

Followed it up with one of my own CohiBrew's. It was a good beer night.

Stone started brewing this a few years ago, but it's my first. Their standard IPA recipe, fermented with a Belgian Ale yeast. Strong hop aroma and flavor, with good malt and that interesting Belgian fruitiness. Belgique = unique

Friday night a friend offered me some Leffe. Not only was it really good, but it also brought back some old memories of us drinking.

Unique is a good way of putting it. I liked it, but not near enough to choose it over most of what I usually drink.

I had a Goose Island Matilda earlier today, my first. It was very good. Now I'm drinking a homebrew nut brown ale.
