Lackey got a gift getting the win he stunk, if he don't get it together, he will be begging for a trade

The bats finally woke up yesterday and picked up Lackey on another mediocre performance like they are supposed to do. Nice to see both Salty and Drew come up with clutch hits

My observation so far is Boston is to big of a stage for Crawford, and Salty don't belong in the bigs.

Crawford will be fine, I hope. Now Salty is another story. It's a long season. I'm just trying to enjoy the games

Crawford is Jacoby Ellsbury, it's so messed up Francona don't know were to bat him in the lineup? For my money I would rather have Ells, just my .02.

You may be right. I'm just trying to give it more time. It's very early yet. I always loved watching Crawford when he was with the Rays. He's to go an athlete to get overwhelmed in Boston

What's the over/under on the new pitching coach getting whacked? These guys are throwing like it is the first two weeks in March not April. Too many balls staying up (and leaving the park).

No doubt he is a great athlete but that batting stance so wide open, bring the heat up and inside and you can handcuff him. I don't know that's how I would pitch him? He sitting on the bench with his head in his hands, I think if he has a big game it might get him going?

Pedro wants to come out of retirement and pitch for the Sox,says he will be ready in a month. Hell yes, I would take a chance on the best pitcher in Sox history just for his attitude

So nice to see Beckett pitch like the guy of old. I think V Tek should catch him on every start. Hopefully Paps can shut the door.

I have no interest in the Dominican Diva coming back to Boston after the way he lied his way out of town, just using us to drive up the Mets' offer. In addition, he was old and broken down when he left the game in 2009; any evidence that he is younger or healthier now?

Hey, Josh Beckett - you know the All Star Josh Beckett, (the one we thought was long gone), made an appearance last night vs. the Yankees. Nice! By the way, the new ESPN crew is just as awful as last years'. Give me Don & RemDog any day.
