Yes, ATL has been playing top notch against us (SF). We won today, but sucked ass the rest of the series.

Congrats to Mark Buehrle on his perfect game. Wise made an incredible catch in the 9th to keep it intact.

He better be getting 2 or 3 for that catch. That was also the 1st time someone has hit a grand slam during a perfect game.

What are the Mets going to do? They need something to give them a reason to show up to the ballpark.

You know the Mets are having a bad season when they get an entire ESPN segment showing all the screw ups.

Hopefully the Mets can hang in there and watch the Phillies have a September collapse.

To be fair to kelmac, the Mets are doing about what you'd expect with all the injuries they've had. Hang in there, Michael.

Yeah...with Reyes, Delgado, Beltran, Putz, and Maine all the DL we have been getting hammered. Reyes, Delgado & Beltran were supposed to be back afte the All Star game...that was 18 games ago??? Being 10.5 games down does not look good right now...especially with these guys all eeding rehabd assignments before coming back. My fear is that we are too far down to crawl back up. And the minor league system doesn't have enough to keep us afloat. Being a die hard Mets and with the current payroll...I DON"T WANT TO HEAR EXCUSES from Minaya. I want some butts!!

The Mets forcast just got a little worse. The Phillies and Blue Jays are getting close to a deal for Doc.
