I wish I had time to ride the storm
It will still still be MONTHS before the supply chain starts catching up. I'm pretty much squared away. Still need to find more G17 mags.... and some more PTR91 mags... thats about it.

Re: First Firearm Thread.
I would love to get a keltec sub 2000 and use it as a discrete trunk gun, plus something that can be folded and hidden if one has to abandon the car...

Re: First Firearm Thread.
I've got a RockRiver arms one that you could try out sometime. I love it fun and cheap to shoot, plus it makes a cool "crack" sound when fired. I'm looking to get a Glock based one as soon as I can Sub2K but preferably a double diamond or lone wolf.

Re: First Firearm Thread.
I like the LW but it's pricey. Wouldn't building a AR based one (assuming one can get a AR lower) with a CMMG upper be better since it gives the option to switch to a .22 or .223 upper later?

Re: First Firearm Thread.
Ok so I have a question that is possibly unanswerable with the information I have, perhaps you fella's can help me...
My Dad recently got a steal on a Colt AR-15, its an early model, triangular handguard and all, the guy told my Pop's its a .223... Does this mean its also good for 5.56 NATO? More or less just curious, Don't really have much more info to give you guys on it but perhaps you can tell me what to look for to see if it does? Thanks Guys... |

Re: First Firearm Thread.
I thought that there was a powder difference between the rounds? So if it takes one then it can also handle the other? was just wondering because I know you don't shoot .357 in a .38 ...
