I think I misunderstood the tasker. I interpreted the question to be: "What are, in your opinion, the five best newly released NC cigar blends of 2011 -- (also perhaps eligible, new size of an older blend)?" Or something like that.

Or is it five best cigars that you smoked in 2011 regardless of origin or release date?

Or something altogether different?

I guess I didn't really phrase it very well. But above is what I was going for. But seeing all the other lists is just as good. Makes me see stuff that I need to try.

EPC New Wave (rob)
Tat Fausto (toro)
Undercrown (toro)
Oliva V No. 4
Padilla Artemis (toro)
hon. men: AB Tempus Maduro (magistri - far and above other sizes)

Disclaimer: while looking over a list of 2011 releases, it occcurred to me that there are probably 100 others I'd like to try that I haven't even had yet

Dan you just F'd up my smoking rotation for today! I am about to
grab some great sticks and get to smokin! Namely a La Verite Churchill
and an LG Small Batch 4! I had some house blends set aside for today,
but maybe i'll get to those tomorrow!
